Write for CryptoSocial Research
CryptoSocial Research is an independent crypto market research publication. We are looking for research writers, and one editor, who can turn a market event into an explanation a professional trader would trust.
This is a contributor role, remote, open to anyone anywhere. Rates are agreed in writing before any work starts, per published piece. Your name appears on what you write.
The two roles
Research writer
You pick one story a week, research it to the primary record, and write it to our structure. You need to read a filing, a flow table or a vote record without flinching.
Editor
You check figures against their sources, cut what cannot be supported, and decide what does not run. Experience editing financial or policy copy matters more than crypto history.
What we publish
- Bitcoin and Ether ETF flows, read fund by fund rather than as one number.
- US crypto legislation and SEC rulemaking, traced to the record itself.
- Federal Reserve decisions and the crypto reaction, with the mechanism named.
- Stablecoins and market structure: reserves, redemption, who can actually redeem.
- Ethereum staking and on-chain signals, including what they do not prove.
Read a few pieces before applying: the research feed.
How we work
- Every figure links to the source it came from, read the day it is written.
- Primary records decide disputes: congress.gov, sec.gov, federalreserve.gov, fund flow data.
- Two named analysts who disagree is the spine of a piece, not a decoration.
- No price predictions, no trading advice, no hype adjectives.
- 600 to 1,400 words, a fixed structure, and a bottom line of plain facts.
The full rules are public: how we work. Part of the desk is automated and labelled as such; contributor work is not.
